Requirement review / supplier coordination
Define how Beltbridge Sourcing should screen timing belt supplier candidates that can provide automotive application documents before factories are asked for terms. We coordinate requests; we do not manufacture belts or grant OEM authorization.
Buyer supplies vehicle year/make/model, engine code, OE reference used only for identification, tooth count and profile, belt width, tensioner preference, water-pump inclusion, drawings when available, packing unit and destination ZIP.
Ask timing belt supplier candidates about production scope for belt-only versus full kits, hydraulic tensioner availability, sample approval options, batch identifiers and documents tied to the proposed engine application.
Separate unit cost, packing, freight, taxes, Incoterms and service fees before comparing so quotes stay on one total-cost basis. Note minimum order quantity when suppliers state it; do not invent savings percentages.
Record approved sample scope, unresolved tensioner or pump questions, new versus remanufactured disclosure and each party’s delivery responsibility. Coordinating quotes does not imply factory ownership.
